Bell bottom pants pattern, tapered pants pattern, bermuda shorts pattern, slightly wider straight pants pattern, pajama pants pattern, shorts pattern and banana pants pattern.

How to modify a pants (trousers) paper sewing pattern?

(Look here for other: free sewing patterns.)

If you have women's, girls or preschool boys straight pants (trousers) paper sewing pattern, then you can transform it, and gain a number of new patterns. Well, for example:

  • bell bottom pants pattern,
  • slightly wider straight pants pattern,
  • tapered pants pattern,
  • pajama pants pattern,
  • bermuda shorts pattern,
  • shorts pattern,
  • banana pants pattern.

So then seven new paper sewing patterns. Not bad, so much money can be saved.

So, what changes are needed to get the new patterns, then you must continue to read the entire article.

And to create a new pattern or patterns, then you will need the following things:

  • your straight pants (trousers) paper sewing pattern,
  • tape measure,
  • straight long and short rulers,
  • hip curve ruler, look here - curved rulers.
  • pencil,
  • pencil sharpener,
  • eraser,
  • colorful markers,
  • some big sheets of paper,
  • some big sheets of tracing paper, thin and transparent,
  • 4 pattern weights,
  • simple scissors to cut paper.

Symbols, which I will use:

( '' ) - inches
( cm ) - centimeters
