Sew pencil skirt with lining. Step 1, sewing tools you need.

To sew pencil skirt you do not need giant experience. However, you will need the desire to work, a couple of hours of free time, skirt and lining sewing patterns, good suitable skirt and lining fabrics and sewing tools. And the best compliment what you get about sewn skirt - it can not be that you did it.

If you have a little sewing experience the 2 yards (2 meters) of 58 - 60 inches (1,5 meters) wide skirt and lining fabrics are the best choice for you, because suitable for both large and skinny hips.

You also need:
- 2 yards (2 meters) of fusible interfacing for straight waistband and center back vent;
- skirt zipper;
- 2 satin ribbons for hanging loops inside skirt;
- shank button.

Sewing tools you need:
- sewing machine;
- sewing tape measure;
- ruler;
- hand sewing needle;
- dressmaker's pins;
- tailor's shears;
- iron and ironing board;
- press cloth;
- small sliver of soap;
- polyester machine sewing threads;
- basting thread.
