Place your skirt on the ironing board, and press along the seam lines, use a moisture press cloth. Please Note: Click on photo to see a larges size.

Then lightly with a hot iron open the side and back seams. 

Then press the seam allowances and back vent extensions open, use a moisture press cloth.

Pressed seam lines, view from the outside.

Then you can remove the basting thread from the center back seam line. Now, zipper and vent areas are open.
Then mark the original left and right fold lines of the center back seam allowances where the zipper and vent will be, use a needle and basting thread.

Then press front darts toward center front, and back darts toward center back, use a moisture press cloth.

Use heavy paper under the dart to prevent ridges from showing on the right side. Please Note, press the tip of the dart flat to avoid the poke at the end of the dart, use a moisture press cloth.
